RESEARCH DEPARTMENT

Research is defined as a systematic, objective and comprehensive investigation of certain phenomenon which involved accurate gathering, recording and critical analyzing and interpreting facts to a certain phenomenon (Ardales, 1992). Thus, one of the major thrusts of research at the John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Molo, Iloilo City is to deliver and implement maritime education related research specially in relation to marine engineering curriculum and instruction. That is, solutions to any problem must be based on knowledge and not on mere beliefs and speculations.

As an institution of learning the John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Molo, Research Department aims to nurture a culture of research by achieving and sustaining research activities in all its academic affairs and endeavors.
