Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration

Graduates of the program can join the government service in the Bureau of Customs, the Tariff Commission, Bureau of Internal Revenue, The Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas, The Department of Trade and Industry, (Board of Investments). The Bachelor of Science in Maritime Information Technology focuses on overall discipline of information technology, which covers more technological and applied aspects of computing. Bachelor of Science in Cruise Ship Management

The Bachelor of Science in Cruise Ship Management is a program under the Business Department of this institution. It is a four-year degree program to prepare the students to be responsible staff of the cruise industry particularly staff of the cruise industry particularly as crew members in different shipboard positions. The course is treated within the social framework of the country and the international community nations.

BSCSM is defined as diversified maritime related HRM course and at the same time socialized stewarding on a bachelor's degree for professionalism and to provide an opportunity workplace capable of providing global competitive students of service to domestic and international travelers of the cruise industry.

This program seeks to achieve these following objectives:

  1. To demonstrate and understand the importance of good customer service skills
  2. To provide seafarers on the desirable training and instructions on basic safety in accordance with STCW code
  3. To develop skills that are relevant to the needs of the labor market in hospitality/cruise ship management and tourism to enable them to be globally competent

(Major in Travel Management)

Bachelor of Science in Tourism (Major in Travel Management) is a four-year course which prepares students who desire to work in the tourism industry to become more responsible and productive citizens. The curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes indispensable for success on the job. Educational trips and on-the-job training expose students to the latest innovations and trends which will enable them to cope with the pace and challenges of the industry.

Graduates of the course are envisioned to become catalysts of change; people who can make a difference in the tourism industry through their work in travel agencies, shipping firms, airline companies, hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other tourism-related establishments.

 

Maritime High School

The School

The John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University – Maritime High School implements the Secondary Education Curriculum development program with enrichment courses in swimming, computer, and basic seamanship.
The school provides the students with a strong and solid foundation for the tertiary Merchant Marine Officers courses and/ or science and technology.
Swimming, basic safety courses, first aid at sea, firefighting, survival craft handling are given due emphases in Basic Seamanship course in high school.
